Inside Sales Representative – B2B

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth by generating leads, engaging with potential clients, and converting prospects into customers. This role involves managing inbound and outbound calls, understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and maintaining relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to meet or exceed targets in a B2B sales environment.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Identify and research potential B2B clients using online tools, CRM software, and market databases.
    • Qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and other engagement channels.
  2. Sales Outreach:
    • Make outbound sales calls to prospects and respond to inbound inquiries.
    • Present product or service offerings and align them with customer needs.
    • Schedule and conduct virtual demos or product presentations when required.
  3. Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and recommending solutions.
  4. Pipeline Management:
    • Update and manage CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress.
    • Follow up on leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
  5. Target Achievement:
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve overall revenue goals.
  6. Product Knowledge:
    • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Stay informed about new product updates and features to better serve clients.
  7. Reporting & Feedback:
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management, including pipeline status and performance metrics.
    • Provide feedback from the market to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
    • 1-3 years of inside sales experience in a B2B environment.
  2. Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
    • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
    • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  3. Attributes:
    • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • High level of self-motivation and enthusiasm.
    • Quick learner with a consultative sales approach.
  4. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in managing high-volume outbound sales.
  • Knowledge of digital sales tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
